Meet your guide at the Orpheum Theatre, 35 W. Aspen Ave. Look for the Freaky Foot Tours sign.

Stops 1–4

Aspen & Leroux Block

Start with the massive Sound of Flight, discover the hidden alley mural, the speakeasy backstory, and Mural Joe's NAU tribute.

Stops 5–7

Heritage Square & San Francisco St

Joe Sorren's Pop Surrealist masterpiece, the PAWS installation, and five murals tucked into Bright Side Alley.

Stops 8–10

Route 66 & Ghost Signs

Lyle Motley's labor of love at Absolute Bikes, 1880s ghost signs, and the Babbitt's glass art.

Stops 11–14

Final Stretch

Joe Sorren's six-panel history, the Sutcliffe flower portrait, Dark Sky Brewery murals, and Sky Black's bookend finale.

After the tour

Explore on Your Own

End near Dark Sky Brewery, a perfect spot for a post-tour drink. Heritage Square is a short walk back.

Dress in Layers

Flagstaff sits at 6,910 feet. Even summer afternoons can shift quickly. Bring a jacket, you'll thank us by stop three.

Wear Comfortable Shoes

About a mile of walking on flat, paved sidewalks. No trails, no stairs, no rough terrain. Sneakers or boots work perfectly.

Sun Protection

Several stops are in full sun. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are highly recommended, especially in summer.

Bring Your Phone

Photo opportunities at every stop. The murals are massive, colorful, and incredibly photogenic. You'll want to capture them all.

Parking

Free street parking is available throughout downtown. The Heritage Square garage (San Francisco & Aspen) is a reliable backup.

Tips are never expected but always appreciated. Your guide puts their heart into every tour.

Flat, paved sidewalks throughout. No stairs, hills, or rough terrain. Wheelchair and mobility-aid friendly.

All Ages Welcome

Content is family-friendly, art, history, and community stories. Under 5 may find 90 minutes of walking challenging.

Dogs Welcome

Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the tour. The entire route is on sidewalks.

Weather Policy

Tours run rain or shine. Only extreme weather (active lightning, blizzard) will cancel a tour. Full refund or reschedule provided.

Cancellation

Full refund available up to 72 hours before your tour. Cancellations 24 to 72 hours before receive a 50% refund. Same-day cancellations can be rescheduled for a future date.

Is this an outdoor tour?

Yes, entirely outdoors. You'll walk between murals on downtown sidewalks. We don't enter any buildings.

What if it rains?

We walk rain or shine. Flagstaff monsoons are part of the experience. Only extreme weather cancels a tour, and you'll get a full refund or reschedule.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The route follows flat, paved downtown sidewalks with curb cuts. No stairs, no rough terrain.

Can I bring my kids?

All ages welcome. The content is family-friendly, art, history, and community stories. Younger kids may find 90 minutes of walking a lot.

Can I bring my dog?

Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. The route is entirely on sidewalks.

How do I book?
